Last Year, maybe around this time Scott, Luke and I climbed part of the mountains near Jarabacoa, Pico Mogote. I just got the pictures from it today and have never seen them before, except I suppose on the LCD of Scott’s camera. The mountain top sits at 2000 Meters, so it’s small by some standards, but the highest I have ever climbed nonetheless. I remember waking up in the morning and watching the sun rise through the clouds, up and over the mountain tops on the far side of the valley. It was a sight to see and would someday love to wake up on top of a mountain. What a great weekend that was.

Those mountains are incredible. I wonder how many people go their whole lives without seeing something like that.
