The right to free thought
Someone posted a comment on My Blog about Don and Jeanette. At the end of the day I could have blocked it…but I’m not going to. People have a right to think whatever they want. In turn, I have the right to lash back at them for their shortsightedness and ignorance…but at the end of the day, that post was not one intended to spark a controversy; I think the media and the Bay are going to take care of that for us.
Other people have tried to post comments insulting “janice” for bad grammar and the like…but I’d rather not have those things posted in his memory. Instead…take the time to leave a comment about Don.
He was a good man. His family and the people he lived to protect will miss him in his death.

his daughter went to the summit, i’ve known her for like 4 years. she’s a nice girl. this news upset me as well. drunk driving is ridiculous, as is the fact that this woman will only get a couple years for taking a good man’s life. such is our corrupt world…
in other news, going on honeymoon’s is pretty awesome…

I wasn’t there. Someone I work with went, just give me a call man…and I can tell you about it. It was really something though. Don is going to be remembered well.

When I heard about Don’s death it made me feel bad. It’s sad because he is the first officer to be killed in the line of duty in the Sault Ste. Marie Police history. It’s sad for his family.
