Bluefur Strikes Again

I’m beginning to lose faith in western Canada, as Trudeau did before me.  For the 4th month now this company has billed my credit card after confirming three times that my account was canceled.  Now I’m finding it humorous, but still frustrating.

At least this time they contacted me within 24 hours and ensured me everything would be remedied. It would seem that things have changed somewhat. So all of this may not have been in vain.

I checked in with billing and they replied to you.

Like a politician keep spreading your lies.

  2. Stubbe Says:

I’m not sure I know what you’re talking about Gary. If you actually read my posts fully without overreacting to them you’d see that I stipulated that I had been replied too.

This public relations campaign you’re running doesn’t seem to be an effective one. Thanks for reading my blog though, all of your comments are driving search terms like:

    Bluefur Customer Service Sucks

    and

    Bluefur Customer Service

to the front of Google’s pages. In fact, I checked my page stats and I’ve had more than 50 hits in the last week with the search term “bluefur.” Companies pay thousands of dollars to have their websites listed first in Google and here I am giving you bad press and your constant posting of a link to your company’s website, preceding your accusations, is driving my rank up for free.

Can’t you see that I’ve baited you into proving your company has poor relation skills? You’ve fallen right into a trap and made a fool of yourself. Then when things are finally settling down, you start all over again. You’re damaging your company’s reputation by spouting off publicly, when you should be responding to my emails so we can settle this matter privately, like adults.

  3. Guy looking for a web hosting company Says:

Note to Gary Jones: I’m looking for a good hosting company, and heard some good things about BlueFur.com. When Googling to check, I found this site. In April, this Stubbe guy complained about billing issues:

    http://www.thestubbes.com/wordpress/2007/04/26/bluefur-canada-web-hosting-is-terrible/#comments

You replied, saying everything had been fixed.

The next month, the same billing issue came up again.

Your company also has an unresolved complaint open with the Better Business Bureau of Mainland B.C. http://www.bbbvan.org/

Every company messes up occasionally. However, good companies implement effective corrective action, so the same issue doesn’t keep reoccurring.

I recommend that you fix your billing problems, and act promptly to resolve customer complaints. Until then, I will be looking elsewhere for hosting.

  4. Morris Rozen Says:

At first I thought my issues with Bluefur and Gary Jones were isolated until I started to check the internet and see that other people had very similar issues with Bluefur.
I decided to move to another hosting service, my error was being honest and letting Bluefur know that I was not happy with their service and had asked Gary Jones to let me know when my services were paid up to. Within hours my reseller package was terminated and access to my client sites were denied. To make matters worse 2 of the domains registered on my behalf by Gary Jones were registered incorrectly and now I do not have access to make the needed changes to the DNS. Gary Jones and Bluefur have not responded to any requests to provide access or to make the changes to the registration. So before choosing a company to host your business, check them out carefully or you just may have a big Blue headache on your hands.
