I always find site statistics fascinating.  I think it all started back when I was working for Stats Canada for a year while I lived in Toronto.  Anyway, numbers don’t lie, that’s why I love them I suppose.

For what’s it’s worth.  I’m posting this here because the DMCA suppresses everything the 80s tought us about making mixed tapes for the girls we love.  Well, bite me.

Anyone who’s been around blogs for a while knows about spam.  This plugin is for wordpress and looks like this:

Analytics has been around for some time, but I found it yesterday.  By simply cutting and pasting some short cod into the bottom of each of my webpages I can generate marketing stats for thestubbes.com.  Here’s an example of what that looks like:

Once again, don’t forget you can click on the image to get a bigger one.  Most may not find this intereting, but anyone can use the service.  Even if you don’t OWN the site, as longs as you have access to the code you can add this feature.

Bluefur’s customer service is awful.  I’m not certain how many of you actually rent webspace for internet sites, but do yourself a favour and avoid these people like the plague.

The finer details are that I cancelled my account there and they kept charging me money…for three months.  After I contacted them and told them they were stealing from me they accused me of being “threatning” and “unprofessional,”  which was probably true…but who cares!  I had to contact my bank and the Better Business Bureau to force them to reverse the charges and they did…three months later.

The conclusion:  Bluefur Canada also known as monster hosting is garbage and I would never deal with them.  Right now I’m with 1and1 and they seem to be fine.

Today was the day.  I handed in my last paper and finished my third semester at university!  Now I have nothing to do for a few weeks while I wait for camp.

I call it: “2007 So Far.”

It is of course my simple way of getting out of updating the website for the last while and leaving y’all with blogposts and a couple of videos.  Needless to say…I do hope everyone enjoys it.  If you didn’t make it into the album, you should come out more often and have yourself digitized by yours truly.

Wish me luck on my French Exam tomorrow.  Oh and Dreamweaver CS3 is out…so be expecting some brand new styles and content on “Le Site Web.”
