New Video
September 9th, 2007– LINK -

From my sister Loreyna and some other financiers who sent me money for my birthday, I acquired a Wii. I think this thing is as much fun as the first time I played Doom in the 90s. Nintendo is back with a vengeance.
This semesters class schedule finds me taking courses from 4:30pm to 10pm. This means that in order to be to school on time, I will have to get out of bed at 4:10pm. To get 8 hours of sleep, I would then need to go to bed by 8:10am every day. I’m not really sure what this is going to do to my physiology, but I get my best essay writing done in the dark.

WiiKey: $20
LG8164b DVD Drive: $25
Spindle of 50 DVDs: $30
All this so someone can safely backup their Wii and Gamecube games. I’m aghast! It’s not about backing things up though, it’s about sticking it to the man. I do this because I can, I do this because I am beckoned by a spirit of inner personal rebellion against the confines of proper social behaviour and corporately induced boundaries.

I’m starting school in less than five days. Three French classes and two history classes…I’ll be updating the website a lot more now that I have important work to do.
Virginia and I are getting settled back into our cubicle of cultural segregation apparted to us within the confines of a dilapidating structure. I was in school this morning paying my fees and looking at my book list. (which has about18 books on it) My car needs some repairs so I’m driving it to a friend’s garage tomorrow on St. Joseph’s Island. Hopefully I can walk away with just my arm missing.
I figured out what’s been wrong with my computer…apparently my GPU has been running at about 100 degrees centigrade instead of a balmy 70–80 so my system was locking up. A soldering iron and some screws + duct tape later I was back down to 66!
Ellie, Lola and Petunia have moved back in without incident, except that Petunia is shedding mad underground and Lola has a weird green stain on her chest from a marker she decided was a little to comfortable in working condition.
Virginia is returning to school and Cross Country at the same time. School will be my full time job this semester on account of I can’t take the heat of the kitchen.
This post is too full of writing. Adios.
After galavanting around the countryside, it’s finally time to settle back down into the mundane and have a normal life for a few months. I have to tap out 2 more semesters in school before I can run off again.
I came home to find a 1000 dollar scholarship in my mailbox, so I’m off to a good start.

I just got back from a four day hike on the coastal trail. This is the second time I’ve hiked this stretch and it was much easier to say the least. Apparently a summer of living in the woods prepared me for the big trip. Besides ripping the tail off of a chipmunk and a pair of exploding hiking boots everything went really well.

It’s amazing what someone will do for a laugh. I even cut my beard into a set of nasty handlebars for Italian pizza night. I left it on for a few days, long enough to convince Virginia that I was going to make it a permanent style for me. The look on my face is simply one of somebody that’s been getting paddled by fraternity brothers for 12 weeks. Spending 3 months in the wilderness with no electricity and no ceramic shitter may seem like a good way to spend the summer…don’t get me wrong, it is…but maybe next year I’ll spend it seeing a therapist for my obviously masochistic tendencies. All the best, I’m home now…but I’m leaving on a four day hiking trip in a couple of hours, then going white water rafting on the Ottawa river next weekend.
