Kris/Verginia
I just finished checking out your web site, I enjoyed the read, I don’t get the warcraft stuff mind you.
I liked the picture described as you in your wifes shoes, Imagine if all of us would take some time in the others shoes…
Hello there, there are a lot of Stubbe’s in the province Groningen in the Netherlands. My husbands grandmother from his mother’s site is Stientje Stubbe, born 9-2-1892 Siddeburen, died 26-1-1979 Appingedam. If you are interested in more Stubbe’s, mail me.
btw: your site is very nic. greetings from the Netherlands
We are also the Stubbe family from Dearborn Michigan. We actually found the Stubbe Chocolates website which peaked our interest into finding out whether we might be related. Daniel Stubbe then passed on your link to us.
Our family is comprised of:
Gerald (Jerry) Stubbe
Tamatha (Tammy) Stubbe
Jacob (Jake) Stubbe
and
Kyle Stubbe
I was tracing my family tree and it looks like we have the same great great grandmother. Crews and Stubbe both come from The Crebbe line. Please get back to me. Cousin.
Well, Im not actually sure how to go about this, I am trying to research my family and i noticed that Stubbe, and Stipes both come from Stybb. I was hoping that you will contact me and help me along if at all possible.
Marc Stubbe’s information is very thorough and informative, though I don’t understand much Dutch.
Marc emailed me once. I think he found my name on my work website. I think he told me he lived in France, but that his family was from Brugge, Belgium.
I come from a family of Stubbes in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. They are originally from Marquette and Washara Counties, Wisconsin. I think we are Danish or Northern German. However, my grandfather never told us anything about his father. There are other families of Stubbes in Sheboygan and La Crosse, Wisconsin, but we don’t know if we are related.

Reply from Kris:
I’ve emailed someone from Wisconsin before who was a Stubbe, though I forget her name.
Thanks for your comment though. No one I’ve talked to seems to be able to bridge the Stubbe gap from before 1800, but I’m sure I’ll eventually stumble on the link.

(yes I know it’s miscellaneous)
